Corporate Philosophy, Vision, and Principles

Since our foundation in 1967, support of safety and security has consistently been at the core of our business. We are already 20 years into the 21st century, and in a world that is increasingly borderless, the safety and security we support are evolving every day as technologies continue to develop.

In order to build up a sustainable society as members of it and in anticipation of the 22nd century, it is our strong desire to constantly generate new waves in the trends of the times and to conquer the constant challenge and development needed to do this through our unending efforts, and this is embodied in the corporate philosophy, vision, and principle below.

Corporate Philosophy

“Create high value through constant innovation in order to contribute to sustainable social growth”

Under a world structure that is becoming more complex, diverse, and fast paced, the importance of building and maintaining a sustainable society is growing at an accelerated pace, with concerns about tension and conflict between organizations becoming an everyday affair and natural disasters said to occur once in a century occurring frequently.
There is no doubt that one of the fields that are at the forefront of this is the aerospace field, which connects the world from the perspective of both information communication and physical areas.
As shown in our “Vision” below, we will continue to contribute to the resolution of enduring global social issues by continuing to exercise our comprehensive capabilities in the aerospace field, which are our strengths, to the fullest to respond to increasingly sophisticated social needs.

Vision

“Introduce state-of-the-art technologies to the world continuously to support the creation of value”

Today, terms like AI (artificial intelligence) and DX (digital transformation) are attracting attention in every business field daily as products of a coming paradigm shift.
In the not-so-distant future, our world will experience the singularity (technological singularity), and we will see unimaginable changes even in the aerospace field. To face the waves of the changes and survive, we must grasp them at their forefront and pursue them every day with strong conviction.
As we are not researchers who conduct state-of-the-art technical research or developers who conduct empirical studies, we might seem to be lacking in creativity at first glance. However, Kaigai Corporation has been the best supporter of the aviation industry for more than a half century, and we have discovered the fruits of technologies from such research and development, integrated them organically, and created new social value. We have been growing with such activities as our core business. The principle that has supported such practices is embodied by the following four-stage cycle.

Principle

The Challenge→Implement→Create→Replace cycle leads to growth

As long as human society continues to be shaped by human hands, technological innovation and development will also come from human hands. What this means is that in the end, the principle we arrive at is very simple: the PDCA cycle. However, carrying it out in our company, which has comprehensive capabilities that combine knowledge as a specialized trading company in the aviation industry and knowledge accumulated for many years as a maintenance and inspection business operator, has great meaning. Our comprehensive capabilities not only refer to synergies between business fields and organizations but also to cross-functional contributions between generations, with tangible and intangible legacies we have built for more than half a century as the medium.
