We have started selling ultra-high-performance lithium-ion batteries using silicon nanowire technology developed by amprius in the United States.
Silicon can store up to 10 times more lithium than graphite which is often used as anode material so it can have much more energy, but its practical application has not been realized since it expands dramatically when charged. Silicon nanowire technology developed and patented by amprius has successfully solved these problems and put it into practical use, providing a high energy density lithium battery that greatly exceeds the performance of conventional lithium batteries. This characteristic is particularly useful in aircraft so that received high praise from Airbus and Boeing Company, and is being widely used in eVTOL and drones around the world.
