Systems and Equipment

The security environment around Japan is worsening due to rapid changes
in the global balance of power.
To rapidly meet such changes, the Ground System Division, Maritime System Division, and Aircraft System Division are engaged in the Japanese defense business in a wide range of fields, from conventional equipment mainly made in the USA and Europe to import and procurement, overseas expansion, and construction of supply chains
for cutting-edge defense equipment.
In addition, we maintain high levels of compliance with governance requirements,
such as International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and have established support systems for overseas transfer of defense equipment.

Ground System Division

As the scope of national security is rapidly expanding from battlefield threats to global threats, we handle products such as communications, electronic warfare, and aircraft equipment to support activities for island defense,
Japan-U.S. joint operations, disaster relief operations, and other purposes.

The Ground System Division handles aircraft equipment adopted by the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, other NATO armies, and others, as well as products suitable for a variety of duties, such as communications equipment to support activities for island defense, Japan-U.S. joint operations, and disaster relief operations and state-of-the-art cybersecurity and electronic warfare equipment.

Maritime System Division

As tensions over the Senkaku Islands are increasing, we handle equipment for aircraft and naval vessels adopted by the U.S. Navy, other NATO navies, and others to support multitiered activities by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.

Aircraft System Division

To improve defense capabilities, strengthening the ability to carry out Cross-Domain Operations has been cited as a matter of high priority. We handle electronic warfare equipment and other equipment required in the electromagnetic spectrum domain of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.

The Aircraft System Division handles systems and equipment for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft that utilize the most advanced technologies adopted in countries around the world, including by the U.S. Air Force and other NATO air forces, to support a wide variety of missions of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
